Firing - Separating a jobholder's employment for any reason except for firm downturns and strategic realignments. If not done appropriately, the notification can cause legal problems later. If the written notice does not work, you need to lay off the individual. Instead judge the jobholder on his merits such as how much he contributes to results AND how easy he is to manage. A pattern of this behavior includes workers 'forgetting' things they've been asked to do or "not hearing" your directives. If the situation has failed to improve or has not improved to acceptable guidelines, you should write the lay off letter. (Probably these steps will be consistent with any investigatory policies you have.) But if you don't have a policy, then this method is proper for any insubordination examination. You can also choose to fire someone because they are not meeting productivity expectations or even if they have a bad outlook. After this, you want to state concisely and clearly your reasons for the lay off.

By allowing the insubordinate employee to continue this behavior on-the-job, the message to the other personnel is that they can do anything as well, without fear of losing their job. Keeping these steps in mind will make the dismissal method easier for you and the jobholder. First, the employer should coach the jobholder when the misbehavior occurs. If theft occurs again, you must dismiss the employee right away. During your discussion, you should inform the at will employee what he or she did wrong, tell her or him the actions you'll take, and warn her or him of the consequences if the action reoccurs. It is therefore important for the supervisor to boost the esprit de corps of the worker. If you feel you cannot approach a jobholder calmly, you should leave it in the hands of an Human resources boss.
